The Studio is Finished!!

Finally, after a few months, the studio is now finished.  There are still some details and little things that needs to be done, but our studio is finally at a stage where we can start working in it.

The last major step was applying acoustical foam squares, which we got from next acoustics, to the wall; It helps dampen the sound, creating what is called dead sound (the most desirable when recording.)

My brother Steven and Dad trying to match up the squares.  You're supposed to be able to arrange them so that the pattern is continuous.

Above is my attempt.  I couldn't figure out the puzzle.

So instead of stressing over lining up the acoustic squares right, we took the easy route: putting a nice amount of space between each one.  It still works, and the acoustic squares has greatly reduced the echo.

I'm so excited!
