A Conversation my Mom and I had while driving one day.
Me: That must be a very uncomfortable way to travel. Holding an umbrella with one hand while carrying a suitcase with the other.
Mom: When you're Mary Poppins it doesn't really matter. She probably doesn't even feel pain.
You know, that's some pretty sound logic.
(As a note, Mary Poppins was technically carrying a carpet bag, but the purpose is the same. Carpet bags are so cool, one of these days I'll need to get one.)
